Expert faculty use a blend of interactive case-based lectures, hands-on workshops, and group simulation to model the principles of resuscitation, and teach lifesaving skills such as advanced airway management, emergency surgical airway, ultrasound, and chest tube thoracostomy. Nationally regarded speakers employ interactive case-based scenarios and hands-on simulations to lead the attendees in the goal directed management of sepsis, multiple trauma, cardiac and respiratory failure. From the initial resuscitation, to the first critical hours of stabilization this comprehensive course provides the attendee with the confidence and skills to optimize the outcome of the patient. The mission of Critical Points is to educate emergency physicians and hospitalists in accordance with the highest standards, preparing them to best manage the acutely dying patient, and to grant medical providers the confidence and skills necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
